Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party result provider. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains only what the sender provides and is used to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Routine hosting logs can include an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. We review this information in aggregate for maintenance and basic usage patterns. Cookies or similar tools may support analytics or advertising measurement where applicable.
What We Do With This Data
That limited data helps operate the service, resolve errors, measure traffic, and improve the reference material. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
Links to Other Websites
We link out to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what you submit there. That is especially true of the sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on eligibility, visitors may have rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of covered business-data processing under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Texas Business and Commerce Code chapter 541. Because this service keeps very little visitor information, requests usually concern a contact message or technical log. Use the Contact page. Texas state, county, and city records remain under the control of their original custodians.
Updates to This Policy
Updates appear on this policy page. Continued use after publication means the revised terms apply.
